BEWARE OF CORRUPTED RICHES.

Families, organizations, communities even nations of the world want to be successful. Success and riches are desirable, and achievable if you follow and adopt the principles of success and applied it in your business, career etc. As we go about making sure that we achieve success, and acquire wealth; it’s imperative that we beware of corrupted riches. Corrupted riches is any wealth accumulated or obtained through unethical, and unacceptable means or standard. Any wealth or riches obtained through fraudulent means etc.
Wealth and riches obtained, or gotten from Satan, and his agents are also corrupted riches. In James 5:1–3 the bible says”Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garment are moth eaten. Your silver and gold is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. You have heaped treasure together for the last days.” God is not against prosperity, wealth and riches. It’s his desire for us to be successful, and prosperous in every area of our lives[3 John 1]. Poverty is worse than any disease you can think of. It’s frustrating, humiliating and totally unacceptable situation any one can think of.
Irrespective of the shame, disgrace, and reproach attached to poverty, if any one go and acquire wealth and riches in any way that is unacceptable by God will surely face the punishment. It’s unfortunate that some respected servants of God in our society has engaged the services of Satan and his agents for power, wealth and riches. Some people have also committed murder for ritual purposes all in the name of making money. Corrupted riches is prevalent in organizations, communities, public and private institutions, and establishment etc. So many nations of the world are facing harsh economic because of corruption. Corruption has become a norm in several countries of the world. Gal 6:7 says” Don’t be deceived, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap.”
We should remember that we are accountable to our actions and decisions directly or indirectly. If you escape the punishment for your corrupted riches today; you will not escape God’s punishment. Are you in position of authority, trust etc and you feel that it’s your time to enrich your self through fraudulent means? Are you under pressure from your colleagues, friends, and relatives to embezzle money because of the position you are occupying? Be careful because there’s always a day of accountability before man or God. 2 Cor 5:10 says” For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or evil.” There is no controversy that if we escape the punishment for our corrupted riches because of our connections, influence etc, we will definitely not escape God’s judgement.
