CONSEQUENCES OF BEING IRRESPONSIBLE.
Irresponsibility is the quality of not thinking, or worrying about the possible results of what you do. It also mean careless attitude about the consequences of your action. Being irresponsible is the opposite of responsible. The consequences of being irresponsible are enormous. Being irresponsible has nothing to do with ones education, status, class, position etc. Various act of irresponsibility has been displayed by people from diverse profession, calling, class, position etc.
Consequences of being irresponsible
Let us look into some of the act, and various forms of irresponsibility.
Marital irresponsibility among men.
A man can be said to be maritally irresponsible when he had extra marital affair with another woman that is not his wife. It has become a norm and lifestyle for most married men. It has led to the destruction of several marriages, and homes. So many men have lost their lives due to marital irresponsibility. A billionaire, and former CEO of a television station in Lagos State Nigeria lost his life as a result of marital irresponsibility.
Marital irresponsibility among women.
Some married women are also guilty of marital irresponsibility. When a married woman had extra marital affair with someone that is not her husband. There’s no controversy that this lifestyle has also destroyed marriages, homes etc. Some women has also contacted sexually transmitted diseases through this ungodly behavior. Some men have sent their wife to early grave as a result of marital irresponsibility. Marital irresponsibility among women is also dangerous and sinful. It brings shame and disgrace to the family of the woman involve.
Parental irresponsibility.
Parental irresponsibility is when a parent or parents failed to carry out their parental obligation towards their children. When a parent refused to train, feed, or even take care of his children etc is a typical example of parental irresponsibility. Some parents have neglected their parental role to their children. Some of the youths that are into crime are victims of parental neglect, and irresponsibility.
Religious act of irresponsibility.
Any one who in the name of religion incite, killed, abused, or threaten someone or group of persons is displaying religious irresponsibility. Religious fanatics has led to the loss of lives and properties in several nations of the world.
Consequences of irresponsibility.
Death
Loss of human and material resources
Hatred
Disrespect etc.
Beloved, the consequences of irresponsibility are enormous. It’s a bane to families, communities, and even nations. Everyone should be alive to his or her responsibility in families, communities, nation etc. Any act or conduct that is not responsible is not fair. Always think of the consequences of any action, or decision you want to make to avoid causing pain, injury etc to people. Irresponsible act or conduct is disgraceful and shameful. Avoid anything that will make people call you irresponsible.
