QUALITIES OF A RESPONSIBLE FATHER.

Fatherhood comes with a lot of responsibilities. The earlier a father knows and realize these responsibilities the better. So many fathers have abused their role thereby neglecting their responsibilities. Some qualities of a responsible father are as follows:

Love and care. A responsible father love, and cares for his family.

Provides for his family. A responsible father provides for his family [1 Tim 5:8].

Takes responsibilities. A father that takes responsibilities is responsible.

Train his children in the way of the Lord [Prov 22:6].

A role model. A responsible father strives to be a role model to his children.

A disciplinarian.

Let us look into some of the characteristics of an irresponsible father.

1. Careless attitude towards the upkeep, care etc of his family.

2. An abuser,

3. A bad influence to his family, children etc.

4. A drug addict.

5. A drunk

6. Lack discipline

7. An adulterer etc.

It’s the desire of every wife, child, children etc to have a father that is responsible. An irresponsible father brings shame and disgrace to his family. A responsible father is an asset to his family, children, community etc. Be a responsible father by taking care of your responsibilities.

Are you an irresponsible father? If yes make u turn now and be a responsible father because the blessings are enormous. Some children are suffering today because their father abandoned them. Some of the crimes today in our society are the product of children from irresponsible fathers, homes etc.

Beloved, it pays to be a responsible father. Anyone that is not ready for fatherhood morally, financially etc shouldn’t get involve because it comes with a lot of responsibilities.
